Nottingham Area Bus Society Running Day: Sunday 19th July 2020
Hello fellow preservationist
Building on the foundations of previous years events we are pleased to announce this year’s gathering will again use the facilities of the Great Central Railway (Nottingham), Ruddington, NG11 6JS, a site which lends itself perfectly for our use with good access and a hard standing throughout.
We will be running free bus trips throughout the day and would welcome visiting vehicles to take part (please see enclosed entry form) however the finalising of which vehicles will be carrying out each trip will obviously be arranged nearer to the day depending upon willing participants.
In order to help safeguard passengers, owners and ourselves with regard to the free bus rides, we are insisting that all vehicles participating hold a current MOT certificate which should be made available for viewing by the organisers on the day.
As we are all aware, the costs involved with our hobby are ever increasing so we are more than happy to include the provision for your sales stalls for a small fee however, space is limited within the museum building therefore these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
For the fifth year running, free admission to the museum grounds for the driver + two as well as three tickets for a ride on the heritage train will be granted as a way of thanking you for your continued support . All other passengers will be asked to pay the usual entry fee.
All entrants will be written to again nearer to the day with further details, rally numbers and maps.
I hope we can count on your support in our venture as without you there wouldn’t be one!
