Based at the Great Central railway – Nottingham, we currently have a selection of buses and coaches, with a high proportion from local operators including preserved Nottingham City Transport, Barton and South Notts buses.
Vehicles spanning a 50-year period from the 1900s onwards represent the Nottingham City Transport, Barton, South Notts, Trent and Midland General fleets from the golden age of the half-cab through to more modern rear-engine designs.
Volunteers are always welcome to help out with restoration activities and events. You don’t particularly need to have specialist skills, just bring your enthusiasm! If you have a few hours to spend each week, enjoy working with an enthusiastic bunch of people, and relish a sense of achievement surrounded by some fascinating vehicles, come along and see us.
